Annual reports

In its report on the Scottish Government’s Draft Budget 2009-10, the Local Government and Communities Committee raised concerns over the potential cost of equal pay settlements and the implementation of Single Status in local authorities.  The Committee was particularly concerned that the costs arising from settlements of outstanding equal pay claims continues to be uncertain and is potentially a significant liability.  The Committee therefore agreed to take further evidence on this issue.
