Petition by Dr Robert Grant, on behalf of Glenrothes Area Futures Group, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to immediately improve and upgrade the A92 trunk road, in particular between Prestonhall roundabout and Balfarg junction, to reduce the number of hazards and accidents and bring about improved benefits to the local and wider economy.

8 September 2009 :   The Committee agreed to suspend the petition for four months until the outcomes of the report on the Cadham Road and Balfarg junctions and proposed improvement works are completed. 7 September 2010 :   The Committee agreed to consider the petition further once Tranpsort Scotland has published its report on the Balfarg and Cadham Junctions. <Link to Official Report 7 September 2010 

9 November 2010 :   The Committee agreed to suspend further consideration of the petition until January 2011 until Transport Scotland has published its STAG Appraisal report.
