*S1M-56 Mr John Munro: That the Parliament support the wishes of the Highlands Councils and requires the appropriate Committee of the Parliament to inquire into the award of a contract under the Public Finance Initiative to construct the Skye bridge and the Toll Order on the Skye bridge.

*S1M-54 Donald Gorrie: That the Parliament calls upon the Presiding Officer to express to the Scottish Rugby Union the Parliament’s concern that the Scotland versus England rugby match is scheduled to be played on a Sunday, despite promises by the SRU, after the unhappy experience in 1998, that this would not happen again.

 

*S1M-52.1.1 Mr Brian Monteith: As an amendment to the amendment to the motion (S1M-52.1) in the name of Donald Gorrie after "Calton Hill /Regent Road" in paragraph (b), insert ", Donaldson’s School".

 

*S1M-2.4 Mr John Swinney: As an amendment to the motion (S1M-2) in the name of Mr Jim Wallace, leave out all after "Scottish Executive" and insert "to bring forward to the Parliament proposals for the abolition of tuition fees and to appoint urgently a Committee of inquiry on the issue of financial support for those participating, part-time or full-time, in further and higher education; the terms of reference, timescale and membership of that Committee to be approved by and its report laid before the Parliament".
