Cathie Craigie: Proposed Mortgage Rights Bill—Proposal for a Bill to enable a court to suspend certain rights of a mortgage lender in relation to the property of the borrower where the borrower is in default if such suspension would be reasonable in the circumstances of the case; to make provision about the rights of a tenant of such a borrower; and to enable the courts to adjourn proceedings to enforce those rights. (lodged 24 September 1999).
