S1W-1658 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive for how many years Scottish courts have dealt exclusively with fishing industry prosecutions in the sea covered by the Scottish Adjacent Waters Boundaries Order.
S1W-1666 Mr Lloyd Quinan: To ask the Scottish Executive what the remit is of the Kvaerner Energy Working Group, who serves on the group, and when reports from the group will be available to MSPs.
S1W-1672 Robert Brown: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-555 by Susan Deacon on 29 July 1999, whether a decision has yet been made on the future of orthoptic education in Scotland.
S1W-1673 Robert Brown: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of the average waiting time in civil cases in the Court of Session between a proof being allowed and the date for proof.
S1W-1674 Michael Matheson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the cost of West of Scotland Water Authoritys centenary launch on 31 October 1999 will be and what the cost of any similar events held by other water authorities in the last three years was.
S1W-1675 Jamie McGrigor: To ask the Scottish Executive why it did not make an earlier statement on issues relating to the lifting of the beef on the bone ban given that the Chief Medical Officer for England issued his latest advice on this matter seven weeks ago, and whether it will take steps to expedite the completion of the Wellcome Trust Centre study in order that further consideration may be given to lifting the ban prior to the main autumn beef cattle sales in October and November.
S1W-1676 Mr Nick Johnston: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it considers, given that 56% of complaints to the Commissioner for Local Administration relate to planning and building control departments, that current planning procedures are flawed and, if so, what steps are being taken to review planning procedures.
