S3W-3977 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive when the Scottish Biodiversity Forum Implementation Plan will be finalised.

S3W-3978 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive how the existing network of marine sites designated under Natura 2000 meets the relevant obligations and targets set under the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the North-East Atlantic and the World Summit on Sustainable Development.

S3W-3979 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive what powers over marine planning it considers should be devolved under forthcoming UK marine legislation.

S3W-3980 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive what joint ministerial sub-committees have been formed with the UK Government; how often they have met, and whether proposals for forthcoming UK and Scottish marine legislation have been discussed at the meetings.

S3W-3981 Robin Harper: To ask the Scottish Executive how many meetings have been held with the Scotland Office to discuss the devolution of further powers under UK marine legislation.

S3W-4002 Jamie McGrigor: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with British Airways and Loganair about their Orkney services and, in particular, about the impact of ground handling arrangements at Heathrow Airport.

S3W-4003 Jamie McGrigor: To ask the Scottish Executive what action it is taking to ensure that air services to Orkney remain a key priority for airlines and are connected with the global airline networks.

S3W-4004 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent discussions have taken place with ministers at the Ministry of Defence anent the treatment and care of service personnel wounded or injured recently in Iraq and Afghanistan.

S3W-4005 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive whether information is now to hand anent the number of wounded service personnel treated in Scottish hospitals following their evacuation from Iraq or Afghanistan.

S3W-4006 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent discussions have taken place with representatives of the Ministry of Defence, NHS Scotland, COSLA and other appropriate organisations anent the treatment, rehabilitation and rehousing of service personnel severely wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan.

S3W-4007 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent representations have been received from the families of service personnel wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and from voluntary organisations representing their interests in relation to the rehabilitation, rehousing, welfare and employment and other related needs of these veterans.

S3W-4008 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent discussions have taken place with representatives of the Ministry of Defence and NHS Scotland anent the recruitment of medical specialists and ancillary staff who have the most appropriate medical skills to treat service personnel who have suffered serious wounds in Iraq or Afghanistan.

S3W-4009 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent discussions have taken place with the appropriate voluntary organisations and COSLA anent the provision of assistance and care for the families of service personnel killed in Iraq or Afghanistan where such help has been sought.

S3W-4010 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent discussions have taken place with the appropriate authorities and interested parties concerning the employment of former service personnel discharged from the armed services as a result of wounds or injuries they have suffered in Iraq or Afghanistan.

S3W-4011 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what funding it has sought from the Ministry of Defence anent the treatment, care, rehabilitation and rehousing of service personnel discharged from the armed services as a result of wounds and injuries suffered in Iraq or Afghanistan.

S3W-4012 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent representations have been received from COSLA, voluntary organisations and other interested parties anent the construction of affordable social housing for former members of the armed services wounded or injured in Iraq or Afghanistan or during United Nations peace-keeping operations and others discharged as a result of injuries or illnesses suffered whilst serving with the armed forces.

S3W-4013 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-1239 by John Swinney on 13 July 2007, whether there is a mechanism for local authorities to apply for specific funding for burial facilities such as crematoria and, if so, which local authorities have applied for such funding in each year since 1999.

S3W-4014 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many crematoria there are in Scotland; where these are located, and when they became operational.

S3W-4015 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cremations there have been in each year since 1999, broken down by crematorium and expressed also as a percentage of deaths in each year.
