S3W-790 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive, in light of the call by the EIS for a ban on recruitment by the armed forces in schools, whether ministers will issue immediate guidance to education authorities to ensure that this practice ceases.

S3W-791 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive how many NHS employees have been recruited into the British armed forces following recruitment activities in hospitals and what the resulting impact has been on the delivery of health services to patients in each year since 2003.

S3W-792 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will consider banning the practice of recruitment visits to hospitals by the armed forces targeting NHS staff, in light of pressure on NHS boards to deliver high-quality health provision to patients.

S3W-793 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will consider issuing guidance to all bodies for which it has responsibility to ensure that recruitment shortages in the British armed forces do not lead to diminished public services through significantly increased recruitment activity by the armed forces in devolved areas.

S3W-794 Joe FitzPatrick: To ask the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body what plans it has to replace ordinary light bulbs in the Parliament building with energy saving bulbs.

S3W-800 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change’s comments on 7 June 2007 in response to an intervention from Patrick Harvie (Official Report c. 458) and the answer to the second supplementary question to question S3F-29 by Alex Salmond on 7 June 2007, what further financial review is planned of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.

S3W-801 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has assessed the risk of any delay to completion of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route by instituting a further financial review of the project and, if so, what the level of risk was found to be.

S3W-802 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what the timescale is for the 2007 spending review.

S3W-803 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive whether Professor Lorne Crerar’s independent review of scrutiny of public services in Scotland has been completed.

S3W-804 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will publish the findings of Professor Lorne Crerar’s independent review of scrutiny of public services in Scotland.

S3W-805 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what progress it is making in establishing baselines in the forthcoming Scottish budget to enable overall savings to be quantified and to ensure that the Executive pursues internal efficiency savings to a level comparable with those required of local authorities.

S3W-806 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what improvements it intends to make to the presentation of equalities information in the Scottish budget.

S3W-807 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-45 by Fiona Hyslop on 6 June 2007, whether the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, a member of her ministerial team or the First Minister has met the Scottish Funding Council to discuss the suspension of the University of Glasgow’s intake of undergraduate students at the Crichton Campus in Dumfries.

S3W-808 Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-45 by Fiona Hyslop on 6 June 2007, whether the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, a member of her ministerial team or the First Minister has met the Principal of the University of Glasgow to discuss the suspension of the university’s intake of undergraduate students at the Crichton Campus in Dumfries.

S3W-809 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the circumstances which led to vaccines being stored at the wrong temperature in a medical practice in Aberdeen have arisen elsewhere in Scotland.

S3W-810 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the results of its national audit of vaccine storage procedures will be placed in the public domain.

S3W-811 Lewis Macdonald: To ask the Scottish Executive whether its national audit of vaccine storage procedures has led to revaccination of any patients, other than patients of the medical practice in Aberdeen where the issue of vaccines being stored at the wrong temperature first arose.

S3W-812 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive how it will assist private and NHS dentists to implement health and safety measures, including decontamination, in order to meet legislative requirements.

S3W-813 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it plans to introduce a funded comprehensive oral health assessment for all patients.

S3W-814 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will review the criteria for determining dentists’ commitment to the NHS.
