S2W-32444 Campbell Martin: To ask the Scottish Executive whether an offence of "negligent misstatement" exists in Scots law.

S2W-32445 Campbell Martin: To ask the Scottish Executive what offence or offences would be committed by a Scottish company that, in bidding for a publicly-funded contract, misrepresented the status and financial standing of the company and deliberately made false statements (a) about being a subsidiary of a major overseas organisation, (b) when naming supporting referees, (c) when naming people and companies supposedly supporting the company’s bid and (d) when stating company equity and naming shareholders.

S2W-32446 Mr Stewart Maxwell: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list, for all ministerial engagements that have taken place since 1 September 2006, the locations visited.

S2W-32447 Jim Mather: To ask the Scottish Executive, in light of comments on 14 March 2007 by the Deputy Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning that the Executive had considered the mutualisation of Scottish Water, what research has been carried out into the financial implications of mutualisation and the long-term capital costs that would be incurred by a mutual company.

S2W-32448 Margaret Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will examine the case for taking account of day visitors and the services they require in its review of the formula for the distribution of GAE funding to local authorities.

S2W-32449 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive how much time per annum is spent by each Scottish fishery patrol vessel in patrolling fishing grounds, also broken down into the time spent in each ICES (International Council for the Exploration of the Sea) square.

S2W-32450 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what total amount of time is spent by each Scottish fishery patrol vessel per annum in ICES (International Council for the Exploration of the Sea) area VIa.

S2W-32451 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive how many over-15-metre vessels were boarded by Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency officers in each of the last five years, also showing the nationality of each vessel.

S2W-32452 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive how many scallop fishing vessels were boarded by Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency officers in each of the last five years, broken down into those with (a) 10 dredges and over and (b) less than 10 dredges.

S2W-32453 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will take action to identify the demand for speech and language therapy among young people in secondary schools and in the justice system.

S2W-32454 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will assess the impact of young people in secondary schools and in the justice system receiving speech and language therapy, in light of evidence in 2003 that 26% of young men at HM Young Offenders Institution Polmont had clinically significant communication impairment and 70% of young offenders had difficulties with literacy and numeracy and given that support with improving oral language skills has been shown to reduce recidivism rates by up to 50%.

S2W-32455 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will develop and implement a strategy aimed at meeting the needs of young people with communication support needs in secondary schools and in the justice system, including adequate provision of speech and language therapy.

S2W-32513 Campbell Martin: To ask the Scottish Executive whether a prisoner who is domiciled in Scotland but is serving a custodial sentence in an English prison can, on reaching the point in their sentence at which they qualify for Home Detention Curfew (HDC), return to their home in Scotland to serve the remainder of their sentence under HDC and what the reason is for the position.
