S2W-32414 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what the current employment status is of the Scottish Criminal Record Office fingerprint experts who were the subject of investigation in relation to the misidentification of Shirley McKie’s fingerprint.

S2W-32415 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive which of its agencies are currently undergoing a formal performance review and which will be subject to such a review within the next 12 months.

S2W-32418 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it will take to provide broadband access to locations defined as "non-spots" and what financial provision will be made for this purpose.

S2W-32419 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will take steps to provide broadband access to Drimnin; what factors it considers to be relevant in reaching a decision on this issue; whether cost should be a factor, and what its estimate is for the (a) capital and (b) revenue costs for broadband users in the area.

S2W-32420 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what amount Historic Scotland would make available to defray the costs of any work to Castle Tioram; whether it is normal practice for Historic Scotland to offer to defray the costs of any work when not requested to do so by the owner, and whether it will cite other examples where Historic Scotland has made offers that funding will be available when such finance has not been sought by the owners of the property in question.

S2W-32421 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what investment is planned for major improvements to the A96 in each year to 2012.

S2W-32422 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive what improvements will be made to the (a) A9, (b) A96, (c) A82, (d) A95 and (e) A86 in each of the next four years, listing the name or brief details of each scheme and its estimated cost.

S2W-32423 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there is a "preparation pool" of strategic projects for which the civil engineering sector can compete; if so, whether it will list the projects involved and, if no such pool exists, whether it has any plans to provide one.

S2W-32424 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive in respect of each of the projects contained in Scotland’s transport future, what the current estimate is of the total cost of each project and how much expenditure will be incurred in each year from 2006-07 to 2012-13.

S2W-32425 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the costs of any planned strategic transport projects are set to rise, or considered likely to rise, over the stated estimates and, if so, whether it will provide full details of any such rises.

S2W-32426 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether any information that would indicate that costs of strategic transport projects are considered likely to rise above the stated estimates has not been placed in the public domain and, if so, whether any such information will be published prior to May 2007.

S2W-32427 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether Transport Scotland has published all relevant information that it possesses in respect of factors about which it has been made aware that make it likely that costs of strategic transport projects will rise above the stated estimates and, if not, whether it will publish such information, or require Transport Scotland to do so, prior to May 2007.

S2W-32428 Mr David Davidson: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has had any discussions with train operators about removing saver tickets or varying the times of their application.

S2W-32429 Mr David Davidson: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to intervene should premium fares be introduced on the Edinburgh airport rail link.

S2W-32434 Stewart Stevenson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many recipients of single farm payments for land in Scotland were individuals or companies from the rest of the (a) United Kingdom and (b) world in each of the last three years for which figures are available.

S2W-32435 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what procedures should be undertaken with respect to the eviction of a private tenant whose landlord has defaulted on the mortgage and the property has been repossessed.

S2W-32436 Campbell Martin: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there was a working group on the licensing of skin piercing and tattooing and, if so, who its members were, what the background was of each member and on what basis they were appointed to the group.

S2W-32437 Mr Kenny MacAskill: To ask the Scottish Executive who appoints members of the Scottish Prison Service Board and what criteria are applied in the selection process; for how long members are appointed, and why there are no representatives of the Prison Officers Association or the Prison Governors Association on the board.

S2W-32438 Mr Kenny MacAskill: To ask the Scottish Executive what advertising was carried out for the new Chief Executive of the Scottish Prison Service; when and where the post was advertised; whether anyone was invited to apply and, if so, whether it will provide details; if the post was not advertised, what the reasons were; what criteria applied to the post and, in particular, whether experience in the prison service in Scotland or abroad was required; who determined the criteria; who appointed the new Chief Executive; how many interviews took place and with whom, and, if there was a short list and a long list of candidates, how many candidates were on each.

S2W-32439 Mr Kenny MacAskill: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the appointment of the new Chief Executive of the Scottish Prison Service followed the Nolan criteria.

S2W-32440 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what contact it has had with UK authorities in respect of the transfer of £425 million from the Big Lottery Fund and £250 million from other good causes after 2009 to fund the London 2012 Olympic Games and how this transfer will affect Scottish projects.

S2W-32441 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it is making to the UK Government to ensure that Scottish projects will be unaffected by a further contribution from the National Lottery to the increased cost of the London 2012 Olympic Games to over £9 billion, as announced by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport on 15 March 2007.

S2W-32442 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it is considering to minimise the impact of any reduction in lottery funding on sport and other good causes in Scotland.
