S2W-32380 Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive what action is being taken to ensure that its target of halting the loss of biodiversity by 2010 is met and what resources have been made available since 2005 for programmes to implement the species and habitat action plans that make up the UK Biodiversity Action Plan and the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy.

S2W-32381 Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive what funding streams it manages or utilises to fund the work necessary to meet its target of halting the loss of biodiversity by 2010, as set out in the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy, and what steps it is taking to enhance this funding to prevent a possible shortfall of £43 million per annum, identified in UK Biodiversity Action Plan: Preparing Costings for Species and Habitat Action Plans.

S2W-32382 Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive which priority species, identified in the UK Biodiversity Action Plan, are declining in Scotland and what action is proposed to address their conservation needs.

S2W-32383 Rob Gibson: To ask the Scottish Executive which priority species, listed in the EU habitats or birds directives, are known to be declining in either range or number in Scotland and what action is proposed to address such decline.

S2W-32384 Ms Maureen Watt: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of all official engagements undertaken at Bute House by Executive ministers since 1999.

S2W-32385 Ms Maureen Watt: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of all official engagements undertaken at Bute House by the First Minister since 1999.

S2W-32386 Ms Maureen Watt: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of all events attended by (a) the First Minister and (b) Executive ministers at Bute House since 1999.

S2W-32387 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive to what extent the Crown Estate Commission submits regular reports to ministers and the Scottish Parliament on its Scottish operations, giving details of the number of any such reports and the dates on which they were submitted.

S2W-32388 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive what new powers it is seeking under the UK Government’s consideration of the forthcoming Marine Bill.

S2W-32389 Shiona Baird: To ask the Scottish Executive how many representations it received in respect of the Lewis Wind Power application for a wind farm on Lewis (a) during the formal consultation period and (b) in total and, of these, how many were (i) in support of and (ii) opposed to the application.

S2W-32390 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive who the members are of the public health network referred to by the Minister for Health and Community Care in a letter to me of 8 January 2007 and on what basis each member was selected.

S2W-32391 Bruce Crawford: To ask the Scottish Executive what the remit is of the public health network referred to by the Minister for Health and Community Care in a letter to me of 8 January 2007; what the network’s objectives are, and how its work is monitored.

S2W-32392 Trish Godman: To ask the Scottish Executive what recent discussions have taken place with representatives of the Care Commission anent confidential reports or complaints from employees of residential care homes for elderly people, in both the private and public sectors, about inadequate care or neglect of residents of such homes and the advice given to the families of those residents in respect of a guarantee of anonymity when concerns need to be raised.

S2W-32393 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether both the report of the Review of Access Criteria for Infertility and the Executive’s recommendations arising from the review will be published prior to dissolution of the Parliament.

S2W-32394 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it is taking to ensure that all NHS boards implement the 2004 NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS) guidelines recommending that all pregnant women are offered 20-week ultrasound scans.

S2W-32395 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it is taking to improve leadership and management in the civil service in line with the key areas for action identified in Taking Stock Review: Fit for the Future, published in December 2006.

S2W-32396 Susan Deacon: To ask the Scottish Executive what changes and improvements to regulation have resulted from the work of the Improving Regulation in Scotland Unit.
