At its next meeting on 20 March, it is expected that the Committee will consider primary legislation, Scottish statutory instruments and any other documents subject to Parliamentary procedure. The Committee will also consider a draft legacy paper.

European and External Relations Committee

2. Scottish Executive’s current EU priorities: The Committee will take evidence on the Scottish Executive’s EU priorities for 2007 from—

Tom McCabe MSP, Minister for Finance and Public Service Reform.

3. Inquiry into the transposition and implementation of European directives in Scotland: The Committee will consider correspondence.

4. European Commission study trip to Finland: The Committee will hear a report back from those members who attended the trip.

5. Sift of EC/EU documents and draft legislation: The Committee will consider the latest list of EC/EU documents and draft legislative proposals received for this meeting.

6. European Commission’s green paper on a maritime policy: The Committee will consider a draft response.

7. Inquiry into the transposition and implementation of European directives in Scotland: The Committee will consider a draft report.

8. Legacy paper: The Committee will consider a draft paper.

9. Annual report: The Committee will consider its draft annual report.
