S2W-31287 Richard Baker: To ask the Scottish Executive what services are being provided to support people whose drug misuse involves crack cocaine to end their addiction.

S2W-31288 Richard Baker: To ask the Scottish Executive what services are being provided to support people in the Grampian area whose drug misuse involves crack cocaine to end their addiction.

S2W-31289 Mark Ballard: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average waiting time is for assessment for and fitting of hearing aids, broken down by NHS board, and when it expects the national audiology collection programme, being established by the Information and Statistics Division of NHS National Services Scotland, to provide such information.

S2W-31302 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive how many children there were in care in each local authority area in each year since 1999.

S2W-31303 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive how many children were in care because of parental alcohol and substance abuse in each year since 1999, broken down by local authority area.

S2W-31304 Maureen Macmillan: To ask the Scottish Executive what consideration is being given to reviewing the specifications for the refurbishment of Class 158 diesel trains to include the fitting of controlled emission toilets.

S2W-31305 Maureen Macmillan: To ask the Scottish Executive what arrangements are in place to clean the railway tracks and station environments in Inverness and the north of Scotland and what plans there are for improving such arrangements.

S2W-31306 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answers to questions S2W-19064 by Tavish Scott on 20 September 2005 and S2W-22307 by Nicol Stephen on 30 January 2006 and the publication of A Study into Broadband Reach in Scotland, when it expects broadband to be available in Ewes in Langholm, Dumfriesshire.

S2W-31307 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it considers that the A82 trunk route connecting to the A9 through Inverness is in all respects satisfactory for today’s needs and the traffic flows projected for the next decade.

S2W-31308 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what the traffic flow projections are for the A82 trunk route connecting to the A9 through Inverness for the next decade.

S2W-31309 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has received from the Highland Council on the question of the adequacy of the A82 trunk route connecting to the A9 through Inverness and whether representatives of the Executive have met the Highland Council in the last five years to discuss this issue.

S2W-31310 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what examples there are of it or its agents working in partnership with local authorities to jointly provide a new or upgraded road to meet local and national trunk road needs in which the resultant road was designated as either a local or trunk road and which designation was used.

S2W-31311 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether there are any impediments in law, or any other impediment not within the discretion of a minister to decide, which would prevent it or its agents responsible for trunk routes working with a local authority and jointly funding new or upgraded roads’ infrastructure which meets both national and local interests simultaneously.

S2W-31312 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether, prior to investment being made in a trunk route, the route must first be designated as a trunk route, even if it were planned that it would subsequently be designated as such; whether ministers have discretion over such a decision, and whether they could award funding to a local authority to secure the upgrading of a road designated as a local road which might subsequently be designated as a trunk route.

S2W-31313 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether, where a trunk route has been detrunked and the route remains in use for local needs and the local authority adopts responsibility for that route, the extra miles of local road created will be recognised as route length for grant purposes to the local authority concerned in subsequent revisions of grant aided expenditure calculations.

S2W-31314 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has ever considered whether the southern distributor road in Inverness is suitable to be upgraded to a level appropriate for adoption as a trunk route or whether it has any plans to consider the issue.

S2W-31315 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has considered the need for a new trunk road to replace the existing A82 route connecting to the A9 through Inverness; how and where any new route would cross the river and canal, given that it would require to be to the south of Inverness, and whether it should consider such issues prior to any expenditure being undertaken by the Highland Council to provide a crossing that might otherwise be designed for purely local distributor purposes.

S2W-31316 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what priority the Highland Council gives in its roads expenditure programme to the southern distributor road in Inverness.

S2W-31317 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has been asked by the Highland Council to adopt the southern distributor road in Inverness as a trunk route and take over the existing A82 trunk route connecting to the A9 through Inverness; if so, what its response has been and, if not, what its response would be to such a request.

S2W-31318 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Highland Council has considered the adequacy of the connections between the southern distributor road in Inverness and the A9 around the southern boundary of Inverness and whether the Executive considers that the current connections are suitable for trunk road purposes.

S2W-31319 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what the principal statutes, policy documents, European or international conventions, accords or agreements are to which the Executive is bound and which governs the work and considerations of ministers in relation to scheduled monuments, historic and listed buildings, and what relative weight the Executive or its agencies have to give to the various provisions in making decisions.

S2W-31320 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive what principal considerations it or its agencies must have in making decisions about the future use of ancient and historic buildings, scheduled monuments, listed buildings and any other built structures of whatever age over which their consent is required.

S2W-31321 Peter Peacock: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list all the designations and classifications used for buildings and monuments, giving the distinctions between each.

S2W-31322 Fiona Hyslop: To ask the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body what measures have been undertaken to assess and address the security implications for the Parliament building complex of the Microsoft Government Leaders Forum (GLF) Europe being held on 30 and 31 January 2007.

S2W-31323 Fiona Hyslop: To ask the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body what financial contribution it will receive from the Scottish Executive towards security costs for the Microsoft Government Leaders Forum (GLF) Europe.

S2W-31324 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how many drafts of the EU Business: Reviews of Engagement with Europe and of EU Office reports have been produced and, of these, how many have been circulated to ministers.
