General and Themed Question Times - 14 April 2005

Members are reminded that the deadline for submitting names for selection for General and Themed Question Times on 14 April 2005 is 12 noon today. Members selected will be notified by the Chamber Desk this afternoon and their names will appear in Section D of the Business Bulletin on Tuesday 29 March. Members selected will have until noon on Wednesday 6 April to submit their question.

The themes for Themed Question Time on 14 April will be Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning, and Justice and Law Officers.

General and Themed Question Times - 21 April 2005

Members are advised that the deadline for submitting names for selection for General and Themed Question Times on 21 April 2005 is 12 noon on Wednesday 6 April. The themes for Themed Question Time on 21 April will be Education, Tourism, Culture and Sport, and Finance and Communities. The names of members selected will appear in Section D of the Business Bulletin on Monday 11 April.

Announcements by the Scottish Executive

The Presiding Officer has published good practice guidance on announcements by the Scottish Executive. Business Bulletins during Easter Recess

Members may wish to note that the Business Bulletin will be published on Tuesday 29 March, Monday 4 April and then not again until Monday 11 April when daily publication will resume.

Chamber Desk Arrangements during Easter Recess

The Chamber Desk will be closed on 25 and 28 March 2005. For the remainder of the Easter recess it will be open on weekdays from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm for the lodging of parliamentary questions and motions. Members who wish motions to be published in the Monday Business Bulletins on 4 and 11 April should lodge them by 2.00 pm the previous Friday.
