S2W-5955 Mr Kenny MacAskill: To ask the Scottish Executive what powers it has regarding the granting of rebates in respect of modes of transport other then buses, including aviation fuel for piston engines.

S2W-6014 Mr David Davidson: To ask the Scottish Executive what the average number is of NHS patients on dental practice lists, expressed also as a percentage of the average total number of patients on such lists.

S2W-6033 Ms Rosemary Byrne: To ask the Scottish Executive under what authority housing associations, such as the Ayrshire North Community Housing Organisation, charge owner-occupiers an annual estate management fee where no such charge has been levied before.

S2W-6034 Cathy Peattie: To ask the Scottish Executive what consideration it has given to primary care services providing carers with free influenza vaccination at a local GP surgery.

S2W-6035 Cathy Peattie: To ask the Scottish Executive what consideration it has given to the training of carers in lifting and handling techniques.

S2W-6036 Cathy Peattie: To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of police officers who have retired in the last five years on ill health grounds were (a) diagnosed with stress or a mental illness, (b) injured while on duty and (c) injured while off duty.

S2W-6037 Cathy Peattie: To ask the Scottish Executive what guidance exists in respect of serving police officers who are experiencing stress, depression or other mental health illness.

S2W-6042 Karen Gillon: To ask the Scottish Executive when work on the Larkhall to Milngavie rail link is expected to commence.

S2W-6043 Ms Wendy Alexander: To ask the Scottish Executive how many expert advisers are currently working as temporary civil servants; how many such advisers are full-time; what grade they are; how they are distributed across departments, and how these numbers have changed on an annual basis since the establishment of the Parliament.

S2W-6044 Mr Adam Ingram: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-5522 by Mr Tom McCabe on 3 February 2004, why the average weekly cost per resident with a mental illness in residential care units operated by local authorities is higher than the equivalent average weekly cost per resident in (a) private and (b) voluntary sector residential care units.

S2W-6046 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has received from dog walkers in respect of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and whether it intends to make any changes to the code as a result.

S2W-6047 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has issued guidance to NHS boards to discontinue the prescription of nicotine patches to people who wish to stop smoking and, if so, what the reasons are for such guidance.

S2W-6048 Mr Brian Monteith: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-2866 by Malcolm Chisholm on 6 October 2003, how much the healthyliving line cost to run in each month since September 2003.

S2W-6068 Linda Fabiani: To ask the Scottish Executive what powers social work departments have to assist children and families from whom welfare benefits are withdrawn under clause 7 of the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants) Bill.

S2W-6069 Mr David Davidson: To ask the Scottish Executive, in light of the findings of the report by the Scottish Public Service Ombudsman of an investigation into a complaint against Grampian University Hospital NHS Trust, published on 3 February 2004, whether it will directly support orthodontal services in Grampian and, if not, whether it will amend the Arbuthnott allocation formula to ensure that NHS Grampian is allocated sufficient funding to ensure that similar complaints are avoided in future.

S2W-6070 Mr Alasdair Morrison: To ask the Scottish Executive what progress has been made in talks with the Norwegian Government on fish farming.

S2W-6071 Alasdair Morgan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to arrange for clinical trials of the anti-dementia drug memantine (Ebixa).

S2W-6072 Alasdair Morgan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether local authorities preparing contracts for school building and refurbishment projects are allowed to specify that a form of renewable energy, such as wood chip, must be used in the central heating systems for the buildings concerned.

S2W-6073 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive when the Social Economy Action Plan will be published.

S2W-6074 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will consider transferring the responsibility for fire safety inspection in care homes to the fire service.

S2W-6075 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive how many private water supplies there are, broken down by local authority area.

S2W-6076 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive how much funding it has made available to upgrade private water supplies to enable compliance with new EU regulations or connection to public water supplies; who is responsible for the disbursal of such funds, and how owners of private water supplies can apply for funds.

S2W-6081 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive what the criteria are for trade union recognition for representation and negotiation in the NHS and whether such criteria will be reviewed following the Agenda for Change process.

S2W-6082 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive what the criteria are for trade union participation in health partnership fora at local and national level.

S2W-6083 Mr Bruce McFee: To ask the Scottish Executive how many physiotherapy course places were available at universities and how many applicants for such places there were in each year since 1999.

S2W-6084 Mr Bruce McFee: To ask the Scottish Executive how many physiotherapy course places are available at universities for 2004-05 and how many students have applied for such places.

S2W-6085 Mike Pringle: To ask the Scottish Executive what its response is to the interim report of the Barker Review of Housing Supply, Securing Our Future Housing Needs, and whether it will institute a similar review focussing specifically, and in more detail, on the future needs for housing in Scotland.

S2W-6086 Jackie Baillie: To ask the Scottish Executive how it will meet additional unplanned cost pressures in the NHS arising from the new consultants' contract and GP contract.
