1. Future Business Programme

It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament a future business programme for weeks beginning 8 and 15 December 2003. (for text of motion see Section F of the Business Bulletin for 3 December 2003)

2. Procedural Motions

The Bureau agreed to recommend to the Parliament that the following instruments be approved:

The Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (Grants) (Scotland) Amendment Scheme 2003 (SSI 2003/518); and

The Mink Keeping (Scotland) Order 2003 (SSI 2003/528).

3. Local Governance (Scotland) Bill - Stage 1 Timetable

The Bureau agreed to recommend to the Parliament that consideration of the Local Governance (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1 be completed by 2 April 2004.

4. National Health Service Reform (Scotland) Bill - Stage 1 Timetable

The Bureau agreed to recommend to the Parliament that consideration of the National Health Service Reform (Scotland) Bill be completed by 5 March 2004.

5. Justice 2 Committee - Appointment of Adviser

The Bureau agreed to the Justice 2 Committee's request to appoint an adviser to assist the Committee with its inquiry into youth justice.

6. Date of Next Meeting

It was agreed that the next meeting would be at 2.30 pm on 9 December 2003.
