Audit Committee

The Committee will meet at 9.30 am in Committee Room 2

1. Scottish Enterprise (in private): The Committee will consider a report by the Auditor General for Scotland (AGS) entitled 'Scottish Enterprise: special review of operational practices' (AGS/2003/11).

2. Items in private: The Committee will consider whether to hold agenda items 7, 8 and 9 in private.

3. Scottish Enterprise: The Committee will receive a briefing from the AGS on the report by the AGS entitled 'Scottish Enterprise: special review of operational practices' (AGS/2003/11).

4. Financial Performance of the Further Education Sector in Scotland: The Committee will receive a briefing from the AGS on the report by the AGS entitled 'Financial Performance of the Further Education Sector in Scotland - an update report' (AGS/2003/9).

5. Dealing with Offending by Young People: The Committee will consider a further response from the Scottish Executive to its report entitled 'Dealing with Offending by Young People.'

6. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider the following negative Instrument-

The Public Finance and Accountability (Scotland) Act 2000 (Access to Documents and Information) (Relevant Persons) Order 2003, (SSI 2003/530).

7. Individual Learning Accounts in Scotland: The Committee will consider a draft report on its inquiry into the report by the AGS entitled 'Individual Learning Accounts in Scotland' (AGS/2003/3) and arrangements for its publication.

8. Scottish Enterprise: The Committee will consider its approach to the report by the AGS entitled 'Scottish Enterprise: special review of operational practices' (AGS/2003/11).

9. Financial Performance of the Further Education Sector in Scotland: The Committee will consider its approach to the report by the AGS entitled 'Financial Performance of the Further Education Sector in Scotland - an update report' (AGS/2003/9).
