S2W-4431 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what the budget was of the Scottish Criminal Record Office (SCRO) in (a) 1999-2000 and (b) 2000-01 and how many staff have been employed by SCRO in each year since 1999, broken down by qualifications and skills.

S2W-4432 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive how the Scottish Criminal Record Office is funded.

S2W-4433 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-3454 by Colin Boyd QC on 12 November 2003, whether it will now consider recording the number of cases in which evidence of the Scottish Criminal Record Office is disputed and what the reasons are for its position on the matter.

S2W-4434 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what the relationship is between the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and the Minister for Justice in respect of responsibility for the Scottish Criminal Record Office.

S2W-4435 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-3413 by Cathy Jamieson on 12 November 2003, whether it will now consider recording this information on the submission of fingerprint evidence and collecting it centrally and what the reasons are for its position on the matter.

S2W-4436 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-3508 by Colin Boyd QC on 14 November 2003, how many cases have been examined since 14 May 2001 and how many marks have been identified and how many of those contain impressions that have been verified by independent fingerprint evidence.

S2W-4437 Pauline McNeill: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question SW2-2078 by Ross Finnie on 9 September 2003, what information it has on how the national targets for recycling household waste as outlined in A Partnership for A Better Scotland compare to the target in the Household Waste Recycling Act 2003 that by 2010 every home must have a separated doorstep collection of at least two recyclable materials.

S2W-4438 Pauline McNeill: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question SW2-2078 by Ross Finnie on 9 September 2003, what the reasons are for any differences in household waste recycling targets between Scotland and the rest of the UK.

S2W-4439 Pauline McNeill: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question SW2-2078 by Ross Finnie on 9 September 2003, whether any pilot projects are in place, or are planned, with regard to household waste recycling.

S2W-4440 Pauline McNeill: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question SW2-2078 by Ross Finnie on 9 September 2003, what subsidy is being given to local authorities to implement household waste recycling targets.

S2W-4452 Mr Adam Ingram: To ask the Scottish Executive whether information relating to vaccines that have caused damage is routinely collected and what the reasons are for the position on this matter.

S2W-4453 David Mundell: To ask the Scottish Executive what role it has in determining whether the National Anthem or any other national song is formally played at public events.

S2W-4454 Jackie Baillie: To ask the Scottish Executive, in respect of its fuel poverty reduction target, whether it is aware of statistics published by Ofgem on the number of disconnections broken down by energy company.

S2W-4455 Fergus Ewing: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will respond to the points raised by Jim and Margaret Cuthbert in their letter in The Scotsman on 25 November 2003; how much borrowing the water and sewerage industry could have undertaken under the system of financial control in 2001; whether the industry could have borrowed up to around 260 million in 2003-04 without breaching its resource accounting limit, and whether there were mistakes in the commissioning letter.

S2W-4456 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been spent on publicity by Greater Glasgow NHS board in relation to the consultation process into the proposed closure of one of Glasgow's three maternity hospitals.

S2W-4457 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what remuneration is received by appointed members of Greater Glasgow NHS board.

S2W-4458 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases of self harm, other than suicide attempts, have, after hospital treatment, resulted in referral to (a) further out-patient treatment, (b) a social worker, (c) a mental health professional and (d) a voluntary care body, in each of the last five years.

S2W-4459 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases of self harm, other than suicide attempts, have resulted in hospital admissions in each of the last five years.

S2W-4460 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases of self harm, other than suicide attempts, have been treated in accident and emergency departments in each of the last five years.

S2W-4461 Ms Sandra White: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to establish a resource centre in Glasgow for the care and counselling of those who habitually self harm by means of cutting and/or burning.

S2W-4462 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has made with regard to Her Majesty's Government's draft Asylum and Immigration Bill laying out the rights of appeal of asylum seekers, in respect of any impact it may have on its responsibilities.

S2W-4463 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what the responsibilities of the (a) Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and (b) Justice Department are in respect of the (i) Scottish Criminal Record Office and (ii) fingerprinting policy.

S2W-4464 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive how many signatories are required within the Scottish Criminal Record Office (SCRO) to confirm fingerprint evidence; what qualifications the signatories possess, and how often has evidence confirmed by signatories been rejected (a) internally within SCRO and (b) by an external agent.

S2W-4465 John Swinburne: To ask the Scottish Executive what action it is taking to address influenza in senior citizens.

S2W-4466 John Swinburne: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases of influenza in senior citizens have been reported this winter in each NHS board area and how many such cases have resulted in deaths.

S2W-4467 Rhona Brankin: To ask the Scottish Executive which sites designated for their natural heritage are currently subject to planning applications for wind farms.

S2W-4468 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of its total expenditure has been allocated to (a) higher and (b) further education in each year since 1999 and what this figure represents in (a) cash terms and (b) as a percentage of expenditure on education as a whole.

S2W-4469 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive how many sites specialise in the disposal of radioactive materials.

S2W-4470 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive what sites are being considered for the construction of nuclear plants.

S2W-4471 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive what requirements are incumbent upon local authorities to prepare emergency plans for incidents involving trains carrying nuclear materials.

S2W-4472 Roseanna Cunningham: To ask the Scottish Executive what testing procedures are employed, and at what cost, to ensure the safety of storage flasks used in the transportation of nuclear waste.

S2W-4473 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what posts were held by staff from the Scottish Criminal Record Office who signed off final reports in respect of each of its last 100 cases.

S2W-4474 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive what the training requirements are for Scottish Criminal Record Office staff in respect of non-numeric fingerprinting evidence; what performance targets have been set for the quality of such evidence, and what performance targets have been achieved to date.

S2W-4475 Ms Wendy Alexander: To ask the Scottish Executive how many extra police officers were recruited and/or deployed (a) across Scotland, (b) in each police force and (c) in K division in Strathclyde, in both (i) the period from 1998-99 to 2002-03 and (ii) the last fiscal year for which figures are available.

S2W-4476 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answers to questions S1W-30963 by Lewis Macdonald on 13 November 2002 and S2W-1722 and S2W-3993 by Nicol Stephen on 29 August and 26 November 2003, which towns other than Glasgow and Cumbernauld are (a) currently bisected by a motorway and (b) awaiting the outcome of proposals for a motorway that would bisect them.
