S2W-3376 Scott Barrie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it plans to publish a strategy for (a) visually and (b) hearing impaired people.

S2W-3377 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive what proportion of Scotland's greenhouse gas emissions come from peat soils that have been damaged by a change in land use.

S2W-3378 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive how much carbon dioxide per hectare per year is released by peat bogs damaged by ploughing and drainage compared to other land uses and what published scientific sources support these figures.

S2W-3379 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive how much it has spent in the last 10 years on measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and what proportion of this expenditure relates to (a) transport policy, (b) energy policy, (c) agriculture or forestry policy and (d) peatland restoration.

S2W-3380 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to support peatland restoration as a significant contribution to meeting UK targets for reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 60% by 2050.

S2W-3381 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive what progress it has made towards the UK Biodiversity Action Plan target to restore 75% of recoverable blanket peat bog within the next 10 years.

S2W-3382 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been spent on peat bog restoration through Scottish National Heritage management schemes in each of the last five years.

S2W-3383 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been spent on peatland restoration through grants for environmental work under agriculture and forestry schemes in each of the last five years.

S2W-3384 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive what area of Scotland is covered by peatland and what percentage may be categorised as degraded.

S2W-3385 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive what estimate it has made of the reduction in carbon dioxide emissions if degraded peatlands were restored.

S2W-3386 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive how many tonnes of carbon dioxide have been emitted from degrading peatlands in each year since 1999.

S2W-3387 Sarah Boyack: To ask the Scottish Executive what carbon dioxide reduction targets it has set and how many of these targets are to be met through (a) transport policy, (b) energy policy, (c) land use policy, and (d) peatland restoration.

S2W-3392 Dr Elaine Murray: To ask the Scottish Executive what funding it has provided to develop the food and drink cluster in each year since 2001; where these funds have been invested, and what outcomes have been achieved.

S2W-3402 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how many Council of Ministers meetings have been attended by its officials in each year since 1999, expressed also as a percentage of total Council of Ministers meetings in each year.

S2W-3403 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how many EU working group meetings have been attended by its (a) ministers and (b) officials in each year since 1999, expressed also as a percentage of total EU working group meetings in each year.

S2W-3407 Michael Matheson: To ask the Scottish Executive which fire brigades have presented all their operational staff with the Jubilee medal.

S2W-3408 Michael Matheson: To ask the Scottish Executive which fire brigades have yet to complete the issuing of Jubilee medals; what percentage of operational staff in each brigade are awaiting the issue of their Jubilee medal, and when each brigade expects to complete issuing Jubilee medals.

S2W-3409 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what programmes are in place to enable and encourage doctors to return to practice after career breaks.

S2W-3410 Christine Grahame: To ask the Scottish Executive what funding is available to enable doctors to return to practice after career breaks.

S2W-3415 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to introduce into the NHS the whistle-blowing tool kit produced by Public Concern at Work in light of Her Majesty’s Government ordering the tool kit for all NHS trusts in England.
