S1W-34054 Michael Russell: To ask the Scottish Executive how many school leavers had no national qualification to Scottish Credit Qualification Framework level 3 or better in academic year 2001-02.

S1W-34055 Mr Duncan Hamilton: To ask the Scottish Executive whether an objective appraisal under the Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance has been conducted for the Glasgow to Barra air link and, if so, whether it will place a copy in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre.

S1W-34057 Mr Duncan Hamilton: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has undertaken a transport economic efficiency report looking specifically at the key benefits of the development of infrastructure such as airports and, if so, whether it will place a copy in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre.

S1W-34058 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will include children affected by bereavement as well as children affected by matrimonial proceedings in the guidelines under section 19 of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995.

S1W-34059 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive whether the guidelines under section 19 of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 will state that basic training and professional development for teachers should cover bereavement.

S1W-34060 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive when it will appoint a special NHS board to manage the National Golden Jubilee Hospital and who it will appoint to this board.

S1W-34061 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive how many of the patients ready for discharge, as specified by the Information and Statistics Division of the Common Services Agency on 15 October 2002, were 65 and over.

S1W-34062 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive how many patients were affected by delayed discharge in each of the last two years.

S1W-34063 Nicola Sturgeon: To ask the Scottish Executive how much having patients ready for, but still awaiting, discharge from an NHS hospital cost the NHS (a) in total and (b) per person in each of the last three years.

S1W-34064 Miss Annabel Goldie: To ask the Scottish Executive what the cost will be of implementing the working time directive for (a) each non-departmental public body and executive agency, (b) local authorities and (c) the NHS.

S1W-34065 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to increase parental representation on its Special Educational Needs Advisory Forum.

S1W-34066 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive when it will publish plans for the distribution of funds from the new landfill tax credit scheme following the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s pre-budget report 2002 that states that the Executive will be responsible for the funds from April 2003.

S1W-34067 Donald Gorrie: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-33365 by Malcolm Chisholm on 3 February 2003, what the NHS board and profession is of each staff member called up in anticipation of military action in Iraq, as requested in that question.

S1W-34068 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Presiding Officer how the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body agrees pay structures for Parliament employees and what action has been taken to determine whether the lowest rate of pay for employees is adequate.

S1W-34069 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many of its employees are paid the national minimum wage.

S1W-34070 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive what information it holds on the level of pay currently applicable to staff employed by contractors operating under contract to it and on how these levels of pay compare to its employees in comparable posts.

S1W-34071 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many public sector workers would have benefited if the national minimum wage had been set at 5.00 an hour.

S1W-34072 Tommy Sheridan: To ask the Scottish Executive how many public sector workers are still not in receipt of the national minimum wage.

S1W-34073 Mr Jamie McGrigor: To ask the Scottish Executive what action it will take to ensure that an improved road gritting programme is implemented in the Highland Council area in order to ensure that pupils are able to access schools that remain open during snowy weather, in the light of recent experience in the area.

S1W-34074 Irene McGugan: To ask the Scottish Executive what action is being taken and what additional resources are being provided to improve access to qualifications, training and support for residential childcare staff, in the light of the findings of the article by G Heron and M Chakrabarti, "Examining the perceptions and attitudes of staff working in community based children's homes: are their needs being met?", in Qualitative Social Work, Volume 1, 2002.

S1W-34075 Irene McGugan: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will undertake a review of the role and value of children's homes in order to ensure that the most effective action is being taken to deliver a high quality service that best meets the needs of looked after children in residential care, in the light of the findings of the article by G Heron and M Chakrabarti, "Examining the perceptions and attitudes of staff working in community based children's homes: are their needs being met?", in Qualitative Social Work, Volume 1, 2002.
