  1. Future Business Programme
  2. It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament future business for the week commencing 28 October 2002 together with more detailed business for the week commencing 7 October 2002 (for text of motions see Section F of the Business Bulletin for 2 October 2002).

  3. Referral of Bills
  4. It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament that the Organic Farming Targets (Scotland) Bill be referred to the Rural Development Committee as lead committee and the Transport and the Environment Committee as secondary committee.

  5. Timetabling of Bills
  6. It was agreed to recommend to the Parliament that Stage 1 of the Building (Scotland) Bill be completed by 6 December 2002 and that the deadline for completion of Stage 2 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Bill be extended by one week to 6 November 2002.

  7. Removal of Motions from the Business Bulletin
  8. Using criteria published in the Business Bulletin on 13 June 2000, the removal of motions over six weeks old from the Business Bulletin was approved, subject to retention of the following: S1M-2874, S1M-2944, S1M-3016, S1M-3134, S1M-3242, S1M-3263 and S1M-3294.

  9. Scotland in Sweden: Request to Participate in Programme
  10. It was agreed that the Conveners of the Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Committee and the Education, Culture and Sport Committee should participate in this year's programme.

  11. Date of Next Meeting

It was agreed that the next meeting would be at 2.30 pm on 8 October 2002.
