S1W-8170 Brian Adam: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to restrict the indications set by the Scottish Health Technology Assessment Centre for prescribing interferon.

S1W-8197 Alex Fergusson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many offers were received for Penninghame prison by the prescribed closing date; how many came up to the expected price; why no offer was accepted at the closing date and what steps are being taken to advance the sale.

S1W-8198 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-7671 by Susan Deacon on 20 June 2000, how many nurses who graduated from the University of Dundee School of Nursing and Midwifery in spring 2000 took up employment with the NHSiS.

S1W-8199 Shona Robison: To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-7671 by Susan Deacon on 20 June 2000, how many of each year’s graduates from the University of Dundee School of Nursing and Midwifery took up employment in the Tayside University Hospitals NHS Trust, the Tayside Primary Care NHS Trust or predecessor trusts in each year since 1995.

S1W-8203 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what action it plans to take to reduce the risk of children living in disadvantaged areas being involved in road accidents, following its Central Research Unit’s findings in Road Accidents and Children Living in Disadvantaged Areas.

S1W-8204 Dr Sylvia Jackson: To ask the Scottish Executive what guidance it has given to local authorities on the recent "Safer Routes to School" funding in the light of its Central Research Unit report of Road Accidents and Children Living in Disadvantaged Areas.

S1W-8205 Mr Alex Salmond: To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and major retailers regarding the labelling of "Country of Origin" on pig meat products.

S1W-8206 Mr Alex Salmond: To ask the Scottish Executive when the Minister for Rural Affairs last met with representatives of the Scottish pig industry and what is the current state of the pig sector.

S1W-8207 Hugh Henry: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has received any representations from parents’ representative bodies, the teaching profession or local authorities in relation to any difficulties caused by the requirements for minimum class sizes.

S1W-8209 Hugh Henry: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is following the progress of the planning application from IKEA at Braehead and whether this matter will automatically be referred to it for consideration.

S1W-8213 Tricia Marwick: To ask the Scottish Executive what assessment has been made of any increase in costs to the three Scottish water boards which will result from the implementation of the climate change levy, and whether it will make additional finance available to cover any increased costs.

S1W-8214 Mr Andrew Welsh: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has received a report from the Ministerial Task Force addressing Tayside region’s health service overspend and, if so, when it will be published.
