S1W-1485 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of the expenditure on external contracts for public relations and lobbying activities by sportscotland for each of the past two years and its budgets for these activities for the current financial year.

 

S1W-1486 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of the expenditure on external contracts for public relations and lobbying activities by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) for each of the past two years and its budgets for these activities for the current financial year.

 

S1W-1487 Alex Neil: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide details of the expenditure on external contracts for public relations and lobbying activities for Scottish Natural Heritage for each of the past two years and its budgets for these activities for the current financial year.

S1W-1489 Mrs Margaret Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it intends to take to introduce measures to amend current Town and Country Planning legislation, in light of the recent successful appeal of developers against the refusal of planning permission to build on Corstorphine Hill, Edinburgh.

 

S1W-1490 Mrs Margaret Smith: To ask the Scottish Executive when it intends to publish a summary of the responses to the 1997 Consultation Paper Land Use Planning Under a Scottish Parliament.

 

S1W-1501 Ms Irene Oldfather: To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it has taken to ensure that internal audit arrangements exist for the Scottish Executive Rural Affairs Department to control adequately Common Agricultural Policy expenditure.

S1W-1505 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it intends to examine the implications of Private Finance Initiative projects commissioned by the water authorities for charges for water and sewerage customers.

 

S1W-1506 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive what strategy it has for the management of freshwater fisheries in Scotland and whether it will list the meetings it has had with representatives form the various organisations active in that sector.

 

S1W-1507 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how it intends to improve standards of urban wastewater treatment systems as outlined in Making it Work Together: A Programme for Government.

 

S1W-1508 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive how it intends to raise the quality of Scotland’s drinking water as outlined in Making it Work Together: A Programme for Government.

 

S1W-1509 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list, by water authority area, average water and sewerage charges for (a) domestic customers and (b) non-domestic customers for each of the last ten years and projections for the next five years.

 

S1W-1510 Richard Lochhead: To ask the Scottish Executive whether it intends to allow MSPs to meet with Scottish Trade International without going through the office of the Minister for Lifelong Learning and Enterprise.

 

S1W-1511 Mr Nick Johnston: To ask the Presiding Officer what form of consultation the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body has undertaken to date to ascertain the views of the staff of the Parliament regarding curtailing the recess, extending plenary sessions and increasing working hours, and what its estimate is of the additional associated staff costs as a result of these measures.

 

S1W-1512 Alex Fergusson: To ask the Scottish Executive how many wildfowl would be saved each year by implementing a lead shot ban in Scotland.

 

S1W-1513 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive whether a sufficient quantity of Meningitis A and C vaccine is available to meet current and projected needs, including the needs of the new intake of students into Scottish Universities.

 

S1W-1514 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive how many cases of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy occurred in Scotland in 1998-1999.

 

S1W-1515 Mary Scanlon: To ask the Scottish Executive what research is currently being undertaken to prevent sudden unexpected death in epilepsy.
